Eyes

Oh. My. Gosh. It has been forever since I posted something. I blame my busy schedule. I'm still drawing, it's just that my scanner's dumb and I haven't had the time to scan and clean up and post a doodle. So yeah.

It was a Saturday and I made the resolution to draw something realistic without it looking like garbage. So I succumbed (spelling? Too lazy ) to watching a tutorial video on Youtube on how to draw a realistic looking eye. I forget the name of it, but if you search 'draw real eye' you might find it.

Anyway, my very first realistic eye is the top left. In case the arrow wasn't specific. Okay, even though it wasn't my idea or even my sketch, I didn't trace anything or measure proportions. That was just my hand, and...*in small voice* I'm proud. For once.

I was so hyped from my first eye that I pulled up pictures of two more and drew them. I even tried shading (which that I suck ). I find it helps when I have a reference.

I realized...I love drawing eyes! Maybe it's because it's the only realistic thing I've ever drawn that doesn't look like a chicken could do better.

I ranted. Sorry. I haven't posted in a while and I needed to say something. Even if it's nothing.
